I just found this website at Ravelry.com that has tons of knitting & crochet patterns... some for free, others you have to pay for. It's really great. I have found a ton of patterns that I really want to try. 
You do have to join to see the patterns, but it's free and they give you a place to save favorite patterns and you can post your pattern creations to share with others.
